Affiliate Disclosure

Some links on this site are affiliate links. If you click one and buy something, we receive a commission from the vendor. You pay the same price either way — the commission comes out of the vendor’s margin, not your pocket.

This is how the site is funded. The free material exists because some readers go on to buy something through a link.

This disclosure follows the FTC’s Endorsement Guides (16 CFR Part 255), which require a clear and conspicuous statement of any material financial connection between a recommendation and the person making it.

We have a financial interest in you buying. You should weigh what we write knowing that. Any site that tells you its recommendations are unaffected by commission is asking you to ignore an obvious incentive.

What we do about it: we say who a product is not for, as prominently as we say who it is for. We do not publish invented testimonials or fabricated results. We do not claim a product will make you money, because we cannot know that.

If a product we recommend turns out to be poor, we would rather take it down than keep earning from it. Tell us if you have had a bad experience with something we linked to.

Any link that takes you to a paid product. These are also marked with a disclosure on the page itself, near where the link appears, rather than only here.
