Privacy Policy

When you submit the opt-in form we collect the email address you enter, and — if you supply it — your first name.

We also record how you arrived: the campaign parameters in the link you clicked (utm_source, utm_medium, utm_campaign, utm_content, utm_term), advertising click identifiers (gclid from Google, fbclid from Meta), and the referring website. This tells us which advertisement produced which signup.

We record the wording of the consent notice shown to you at the time you subscribed, and the date, as a record that consent was given.

We record when someone follows one of our affiliate links, along with the campaign it came from.

If analytics are enabled, Google Analytics 4 and the Meta Pixel may set cookies and collect usage data under their own privacy policies, which we do not control.

To send you the material you requested and the email series you consented to.

To understand which advertisements work, so we do not waste money on ones that do not. This is the only reason we keep campaign data.

We do not build profiles about you beyond this, and we do not attempt to identify you beyond the email address you gave us.

Your email address is stored in Brevo, our email service provider, who process it on our behalf in order to deliver the emails.

Campaign and click data is stored in Cloudflare D1, our hosting provider’s database.

We do not sell your data. We do not rent it, trade it, or share it with other marketers. If that ever changed we would tell you first and ask again.

This site runs on Cloudflare’s global network and Brevo’s infrastructure, so your data may be processed in a country other than the one you are in, including countries whose data protection laws differ from your own. By using this site you consent to that transfer.

Until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it. When you unsubscribe your address is suppressed rather than erased, so that we do not accidentally email you again — tell us if you want full erasure instead and we will do that.

This site is not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under the age of 16 (or the age of digital consent where you live, if higher). If you believe a child has given us their email address, contact us and we will delete it.

You can unsubscribe from any email using the link at the bottom of it. It works on the first click.

You can ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, by emailing hello@startearning.co. We will respond within 30 days.

Depending on where you live you may have additional rights under the GDPR, the UK GDPR, or the CCPA — including the right to access, correct, or delete your data, the right to object to processing, and the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

California residents: we do not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioural advertising as those terms are defined by the CCPA. If you ask us not to process your data for a particular purpose, we will not treat that request against you.

The site itself uses browser session storage to remember which advertisement brought you here, so that information survives until you submit the form. It is cleared when you close the tab.

If analytics are enabled, Google and Meta set their own cookies. You can block these with your browser settings or an ad blocker; the site works normally without them.

We may update this policy as the site changes. The version here is the one that applies. Last updated: September 2026.
